LWMC Mission of the Quarter
Hallsboro-Artesia Elementary & East Columbus Jr/High Schools
We are collecting school supplies and non-perishable snacks/drinks for the schools this quarter! Bring in lots of common school supplies, backpacks, small bottles of water, and individually-wrapped snacks. Collection bins are in the fellowship hall and narthex.

Local School Ministries
Our church partners with Hallsboro-Artesia Elementary, East Columbus High School, and Thomas Academy for various support during the year. See the Missions Calendar for specific information. We provide backpacks and supplies as well as ready-to-eat, take-home meals for children on the weekend.
Thank you to everyone who helped with The Christmas Angel Tree. Many children received the love of Jesus through your gifts. We will have a Christmas Angel Tree for these students again this Christmas. If you would like to sponsor a child for Christmas, please contact us!
Waccamaw Christian Missions, Inc
Waccamaw Christian Missions, Inc. is a local non-profit group founded by members of LWMC. Empowered by their faith in Christ, they are dedicated to transforming lives and communities through local outreach home improvement projects. By mobilizing volunteers, providing resources, and offering practical support, they aim to enhance living conditions, build stronger neighborhoods, and demonstrate God’s love in action. Prayer shawls and blankets are being made by the gracious and generous women of LWMC. Each prayer shawl is unique and prayed over, with a specific person and purpose.
