Back Pack Buddies & School Supplies for local schools
It's back to school preparation time! This quarter we are focusing on collecting school supplies for the local schools and non-perishable food items for our Back Pack Buddies program. We have lists of needed items and you can drop off your donations to the Bible Study room or the office.

Local School Ministries
Our church partners with Hallsboro-Artesia Elementary, East Columbus High School, and Thomas Academy for various support during the year. See the Missions Calendar for specific information. We provide backpacks and supplies as well as ready-to-eat, take-home meals for children on the weekend.
Waccamaw Christian Missions, Inc
Waccamaw Christian Missions, Inc. is a local non-profit group founded by members of LWMC. Empowered by their faith in Christ, they are dedicated to transforming lives and communities through local outreach home improvement projects. By mobilizing volunteers, providing resources, and offering practical support, they aim to enhance living conditions, build stronger neighborhoods, and demonstrate God’s love in action. Prayer Shaw Ministry
Prayer shawls and blankets are being made by the gracious and generous women of LWMC. Each prayer shawl is unique and prayed over, with a specific person and purpose. If you know someone needing this special comfort, please contact Mrs. Gore or Pastor Chris. If you would like to help make prayer shawls, let us know and we will help get you started!
