Pastor Chris shepherds Lake Waccamaw Methodist Church since December 2023 and is an ordained Deacon in the Global Methodist Church. His heart for youth and their families has led him to spend decades walking alongside students and families, helping young people grow in faith through scripture, worship, and Christian community.

As a pastor in the Global Methodist Church, Pastor Chris is passionate about strengthening the Church’s historic foundations while equipping it for faithful witness in a changing world. He believes in a strong focus on raising up leaders who live out their faith through prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. He believes the local church is God’s primary instrument for making disciples and transforming communities. Pastor Chris also serves the Global Methodist Church by chairing the NC Annual Conference Planning Team and is part of the NC Conference Leadership Team.

His worship leadership is shaped by stirring the heart toward God. Whether preaching, teaching, or leading worship, his goal is always the same; help people encounter Christ and respond with lives of faithful obedience.
Pastor Chris is a devoted husband and father of two boys. He brings a shepherd’s heart to ministry, combining theological depth with pastoral care, and a strong conviction that the next generation must be intentionally formed in the faith. Pastor Chris is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
